Sometimes I tried to get out of the rut by “going to the gym from now on”, only to fall back into misery a few days later.
I wanted to live a great life. Yet here I was living like the miserable masses, stumbling around blindly, feeling utterly lost in life.
And I had no idea how to change that. There was no clear path. No guidance. No framework.
All school prepared me for was … a job. To get an unimpressive salary, which I would spend on things to forget about how much I dread it all.
Calm mind, freedom, and clear vision.

Escape The Masses
The first obstacle that the masses face is that they simply don't know how to navigate their day-to-day life well. They keep sabotaging themselves, feel like shit most of the time, and can therefore never dedicate consistent efforts to their future.
By the end of Stage 1, you will have a really good grip on your present and live a life of near-permanent balance, which will already put you into a position few people will ever achieve.
Most people consider balance to be a luxury they experience only occasionally.
That, however, means that the masses usually act from a state of disbalance - with dire consequences: Disbalance causes irrational, short-term, low-willpower decisions, which accumulate into a life that becomes more and more miserable.
The balance-first approach is the answer to this logical fallacy. Balance not as a luxury, but as a necessity. Achieved through knowing your vices and virtues and adhering to these.
The masses are distracted, nervous, obedient, altruistic, unfocused, and irrational. This state of mind is what keeps them stuck in the average, miserable modern life I call 'Modern Misery'. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. On the outside their life is relatively comfortable, but inside they feel miserable. I will show you how I got out of that state permanently - and how you can too.
Energy, Time, Money. The masses are chronically in lack in all of them. Without reliable levels in them you can't do anything consistently - which is the most crucial element for lasting changes. Let's stabilize your resources first.
To escape the masses means to solve your problems in life. This seems obvious - but it's not at all.
Most people focus on a fantasy future, and chase after stupid goals in hopes that this will solve their problems as a side effect. But this obviously doesn't work.
Your problems must be clearly articulated, understood and then solved. Or else they will be a thousand pound weight holding you back from ever achieving anything noteworthy in the future.
It is nothing uncommon, to review your year, and recalibrate your focus for the next year. But I found most processes out there to be chaotic and ineffective. Here I share with you a process I refined over many years - which works incredibly well. No better way to finish the year.
Analyse Yourself
The masses fail to build a life they love mostly because they don't know themselves or human nature. As a result they fall victim to fantasies and fears, make unwise decisions in life and get disappointed constantly.
By the end of Stage 2 you will have an exceptional understanding of human nature and, more importantly, yourself, your past and what is important to you. This sets the foundation for a life true to what you actually want.
To fully understand yourself, you need to understand the context into which you were born.
• Nature (your biology and drives) • Culture (your era and environment) • Your Family (your parents and genetics).
These layers form your "programming" - patterns and habits you didn't consciously choose. By understanding how they influence you, you will be able to separate yourself from automatic responses and act with more awareness and control.
To truly understand yourself, you need to understand the concept of personality deeply - because not all humans are the same. Before I understood this concept, much of life was confusing, frustrating, and unpredictable.
We will also look at your own personality and how it affects your life. This will be much more than a little "online personality test". Quite the opposite: It will be a masterclass on personality.
Most people walk blindly through life. Not only have they no sensible plans for their future - but they also have no clarity of what they have experienced so far - and how it led them to where they are now.
This powerful exercise had an incredible domino-effect onto my life, as it led to a completely new level of clarity.
To analyse yourself essentially means that you collect dots about yourself - because reflection is to collect dots.
But, to make use of these dots, they must be connected, to see the patterns of your past.
Understanding these patterns is crucial, as they are the dominant force in your daily life and the predictors of your future.
Everybody has them. But 99% are completely unaware of their highest values, and therefore can't live in line with them.
As the grand finale of Stage 2 the dots we connected will show clear patterns: Your highest values. To know yours, is the most liberating feeling. Finally, you will know, what is most important to you.
This exercise alone will give you a level of clarity few people ever attain.
Build Your Dreamlife
The masses stumble blindly into the future, basing their goals on wishful thinking, fragile hopes, and what their favorite influencer is doing. With the logical consequence that they achieve nothing noteworthy.
In Stage 3 we will articulate, plan and create your desired future, design your optimal work/business and you will learn how to realize your goals in a calm but highly effective manner, year after year.
In 2015 I had a 50h/week job that required me to commute to a different city. By 2020 I had a job that only took one hour per day, from home, to cover my expenses.
The rest of the time I was able to invest in slowly building my business (without needing it to be profitable quickly), focus on staying in balance and enjoy every first moment of my baby son.
This drastic reduction of workhours didn't happen by accident. It was the result of a rational strategy, patiently acted upon.

This is not a course you consume in a weekend and then see results the following Monday. It is a full curriculum for mastering modern life. It takes time to learn and execute on.
